Stepping Up Program for Young Business Owners

A mentoring program to assist young business owners to build their customer base and not only keep the customers they have but to get them to be champion referrers for them.
Biznet is running a Stepping Up Program for young business owners between the ages of 18 and 35 with Vanessa Van Wyk from Binarix facilitating and funding from the NSW Dept of State and Regional Development (DSRD).
This is a DSRD program where young business owners are mentored by experienced business owners. It is a 5 week program as follows:
Week 1: Introductory night - meet your mentor & mentoree
Weeks 2, 3 & 4: workshops with key speakers on topics relevant to the theme "How to Win New Clients" and "How to make you existing clients champion referrers for you"
Week 5: Mini expo to showcase the metorees' businesses
PLUS: 8 hours of 1 on 1 mentoring by an experienced business person.

Cost of the program is subsidised by DSRD to the value of $1,250 per person with the menotree only having to contribute $200 to take part.
